Preschool Valentine Mouse
The Holidays are a fun time for kids. Preschoolers love to make projects with a theme for special occasions. Valentines’s Day is my favorite. This is a very easy project the kids will have fun making.
Valentine Mouse
Materials Needed: Red, pink, and white Construction paper. Scissors, and glue.
Directions: Cut out a heart 5-6″ tall. Turn it upside down, this is the body. Cut a heart 2-3″ tall for the head. Glue it to the body. Add small hearts for the ears and smaller ones for the eyes. A heart turned upside down makes the nose and mouth. Cut some strait pieces for whiskers, and a long strait piece for the tail. Put a small heart at the end of the tall.
Tip: Make cardboard patterns of the different size hearts. Then have the children trace hearts onto the construction paper from the cardboard heart and cut them out.
