PreSchool Activity of the Week

Valentine’s Day Cards

The children will love this preschool activity and they can give it as a gift to a family member or friend.
All you will need :

• Red Tissue Paper
• Vinegar
• Pink Construction Paper
• Scissors
• Markers or Crayons

Have the children cut out heart shapes from the red tissue paper. Then let the kids paint one side of the pink paper with vinegar and immediately place the tissue paper hearts all around the pink paper. When the paper has thoroughly dried, the children gently peel off the tissue paper hearts to reveal heart stamps on their paper. Then fold the paper in half to form a card and let the children decorate or write a message on the inside. This will be an adorable Valentine’s Day Card the preschoolers will love to make and give to someone.
